Despite the 46 point loss, the majority of the Bombers didn’t let their Fantasy coaches down with the side amassing an above average 1675 combined. St Kilda scored 1678.

Playing as the plus one in defence, James Kelly (DEF/MID, $503,000) collected 33 disposals and 10 marks to lead the way. He was joined by Matt Dea (DEF, $347,000) and Brendon Goddard (MID, $515,000) as top performers in the Sunday twilight fixture.

Dea’s ownership plummeted following his round five and six scores of 48 and 38. Since then he has posted 85, 74 and 122 to reignite his cash generation that saw him add $31K and go in with a low breakeven of 17. Like the advice has been of late, keep him in your side for a couple of weeks at least. The best strategy advice from here is to trade when the Bombers have their round 14 bye.

The same can be said for Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti (DEF/FWD, $326,000) and Mitch Brown (DEF/FWD, $343,000) who scored well and carry breakevens of 37 and 53 respectively.

It is, however, time to take the money and run with a few Bombers. Michael Hartley (DEF, $244,000) has reached his peak. You could just hold him for bench cover down back, but if he is in as a money maker, then those days are just about finished with his breakeven basically matching his output. Darcy Parish (MID, $345,000) has hit what Fantasy coaches call the rookie wall. Look to move him to Mathieson from the Lions this week.

If you didn’t take last week’s advice to move on Orazio Fantasia (DEF, $355,000), he dropped another $31K and was lucky to get to 40 after being on 8 at half time. Try to trade him to a premium defender if possible. Kelly looks like a great option.

This week the Bombers have the Dreamtime at the G game as part of Indigenous Round. Jake Long (FWD/MID, $125,000) is in the mix to take on the Tigers. He could be a decent downgrade option. Also named up to be a chance to play on Saturday night is Will Hams (FWD, $155,000) and Mark Jamar (RUC, $226,000). They also offer some value if selected.
