Essendon’s commitment to providing its members and fans with the best possible access will continue on Thursday night with the Club opening its doors to broadcaster, Channel 7.

The Bombers travel to Perth to take on West Coast in a match that will be beamed live around the country.

With most of the supporter base watching on from home, Essendon will provide an unprecedented insight into the build-up, the tactics and the personalities within the Club.

When the ball is bounced, Essendon Coach John Worsfold will wear a microphone for the entire first quarter.  His half time speech will also be broadcast.

Line Coach Hayden Skipworth will be wired for sound as he addresses the players at quarter time and key midfielder David Zaharakis will speak to the commentary team in the lead-up to the game.

The Bombers provided similar access when they met Hawthorn earlier this month.

The VFL side’s clash against Port Melbourne will also be broadcast live throughout Victoria on Channel 7 this weekend.

Fresh from the comeback win against Werribee, make sure you tune in to catch the next chapter in this exciting, young group’s development.
