Tickets for all Essendon home and away matches from round one to 22 will be on sale for the general public at 9am on Wednesday, March 7.

Ticketek is responsible for all MCG games, while Ticketmaster is responsible for matches at Etihad Stadium.

Essendon Chief Marketing Officer Justin Rodski said there have only been minor changes to ticket prices this season.

“Tickets to Essendon games in 2018 will remain relatively flat across the board,” Rodski said.

“There are some categories that have fluctuated up or down slightly, this is due to the classification of the match as a result of the fixture.

“Overall, tickets remain affordable, with general admission tickets starting $25 and kids will continue to enjoy free entry to our Skeeta Sunday games.”

The Bombers will clash in several blockbusters this season including home matches in the opening round against Adelaide, the Country Game against Geelong, Dreamtime at the G against Richmond and against traditional rival Hawthorn in round seven.

Rodski says fans can avoid the disappointment of missing these feature games by purchasing tickets as early as possible.

“There are a number of big blockbuster games across the season, starting with our Friday night clash against the Crows at Etihad Stadium in round one,” he said.

“This match will most likely be a sellout, so I would advise anyone looking to get a ticket to purchase early, especially if you want a reserved seat.

“We understand some fans prefer to buy casual tickets to attend our games, but the best way to guarantee a seat and get the best value for money is still to purchase a membership.”
