There will be plenty happening throughout the Bombers final match of the season against Carlton on Saturday.
The match against the archrival will not only pit the competition’s two most successful clubs against each other, but it will also be a chance to acknowledge the contributions that have seen Essendon make progress this season despite the challenges enforced upon it.
Here are some of the initiatives to keep an eye out for:
- Kids under 15 get in free
- Disney will be giving away tickets to their new film Pete's Dragon
- Kids under 14 are eligible for a free Village Cinema's ticket from MCG Care staff on the concourse
- Sherrin footy’s will be given away
- Skeeta will also hand out footy’s after every Essendon goal
Regardless of the result fans are encouraged to remain at the ground after the final siren.
All players, coaches, the Chairman, the CEO and Club Legend Kevin Sheedy will gather in the middle of the ground before the ten 2016 recruits lead the Club towards the cheer squad.
Players and coaches will then disperse to all points of the ground to hand out footballs to the fans, and thanks all Essendon supporters for their contribution this season.
