Essendon will celebrate its Milestones and Hall of Fame Induction this Saturday night.

Those that will be inducted into the Hall of Fame include: 

Paul Vander Haar 

‘The Flying Dutchman’ was tough and uncompromising.  He was one of the best contested marks of his era.

Vander Haar played in the 1984 and 1985 Premiership teams. 

Kevin Egan

Kevin Egan played 65 games for the Bombers before dedicating more than 40 years of his life to serving the club in a variety of off-field roles.

He was Team Manager for the 1984 and 1985 Premierships and was a Director when the Bombers decided to build their current base at Tullamarine.

Reg Burgess

The high marking wingman is a member of Essendon’s Team of the Century.

He played 124 games for the club across seven seasons from 1954 until 1960. 

Burgess won two Best and Fairest awards before returning home to run the family farm. 

Noel Allanson

Like Egan, Noel Allanson has provided a lifetime of service to the Essendon Football Club.

He played 57 games and was part of the 1950 Premiership side.

He later served as Vice President and Treasurer and even played cricket for Victoria.
