A number Bombers are vying for a spot in the side to take on North Melbourne on Saturday after training strongly at the club’s high performance centre on Thursday morning.

The Bombers will be forced to make at least three changes with Dustin Fletcher (suspension), Patrick Ryder (suspension) and Jason Winderlich (hamstring) all set to miss.

Youngsters Nick O’Brien and Elliott Kavanagh both showed their wears at training this morning and may be considered after strong form at VFL level in recent weeks.

Midfielder Travis Colyer may also be considered to inject run lost through the injuries to Winderlich and Courtenay Dempsey (hamstring).

Big man David Hille remains a strong chance to line up having not played since Round 6 against Greater Western Sydney.

First round draft selection Joe Daniher who has received limited opportunities at AFL level this season also is in line for a return to senior football after showcasing his strong marking skills at VFL level in recent weeks.

After two weeks in the VFL leading goal kicker Stewart Crameri also looks likely to return after regaining important match fitness and showing strong signs at training on Thursday morning.
