Key forward prospect, Scott Gumbleton, has recovered well from Friday night's win over the Bulldogs at the Dome.

Assistant coach, Ashley Prescott, said the entire squad got through the game unscathed and that a number of other key players would now become available for Round 2.

""Scott (Gumbleton) trained well on Monday and again this morning so it's full steam ahead and he was really pleased to get through his first full game for some time,"" Prescott said.

""The guys who had been on modified programs got through the game well which is a credit to Stu Cormack and the fitness department.""

Veteran forward, Scott Lucas, heads and all-star cast of players now vying for selection to play Brisbane on Friday, 27th February.

""Scott's trained particularly well and we just felt it was important for him to have another week on the training track. He will be up for selection,"" Prescott said.

""Alwyn Davey has been givenhis (medical) clearance and is right to go. He's ticked all the boxes so it's just a matter of him getting through the nextcouple of weeks of training and he will be available for selection.

""David Myers he had a little bit of a virus and he is over that, Jason Winderlich is another one who will be in line for selection so from that point of view its really positive to have quite a few exciting and important players back for the team.""

One of the stars of Friday night's win, David Hille, missed today's training with general ""soreness"".

""We were really pleased with his performance on the weekend but he's had the morning off because he's been feeling just a little down,"" Prescott said.

""There are no problems though and he will be back for weights this afternoon and recovery.""
