Essendon pair David Myers and Ariel Steinberg will return to the side for Saturday night’s elimination final against North Melbourne at the MCG.

The Bombers have made just two changes for the match with Steinberg and Myers replacing Orazio Fantasia and Patrick Ambrose in the side that drew with Carlton.

Coach Mark Thompson said his side was primed for their first finals campaign since 2011.

“It is going to be a great game, the boys are excited and we just want to play well for our fans and ourselves,” Thompson said.

“We want to see a big crowd as we love it when our fans are there.”

“We are hoping we play our best footy, I am confident we will put in a more consistent performance.”

“We have been in really good shape and they are excited so bring it on.”
