Baby Bombers from the Essendon Football Club’s James Hird Academy (JHA) will form a guard of honour for the players running out for the game against Port Adelaide.
Now in its sixth year, the annual Guard of Honour game is a chance for former Essendon greats to come together as the JHA works closely with a number of father-son prospects, with the aim of helping them develop the crucial skills that will help them become the stars of the future.
Joe Daniher and Jake Long both made their way up through the academy before being listed by the Bombers.
