The Essendonians coterie group has dug deep for the Flight Plan, officially presenting the club with a sizable donation towards the new High Performance Centre at Melbourne Airport.

The cheque for $1,151,000 was presented to Essendon chairman David Evans at the Essendonians 2013 member induction dinner.

“The Essendonians really wanted to support the football club for this important initiative to help provide the best possible facilities for the club,” Essendonian Rob Harwood said.

“The cheque was made up of a number of elements including personal pledges from our members towards the Flight Plan, the sale of Jack and Jill Café and our overall contribution to the club from last year.”
