Essendon will be without a number of stars for Saturday afternoon’s match against Greater Western Sydney after David Zaharakis and Jason Winderlich were ruled out of the match.

Zaharakis (back) and Winderlich (soreness) along with Tayte Pears (rested) and Ben Howlett (omitted) are all to miss from the team that defeated the Western Bulldogs last weekend.

Stewart Crameri, Nathan Lovett Murray, Leroy Jetta and Cory Dell’Olio have been bought into the team to take on the Giants on Saturday.

Crameri’s return is set to bolster the forward line after a fortnight on the sidelines with an ankle injury.

Lovett-Murray is set to play his first game since being hospitalised after a domestic altercation earlier this year, he has played just one game against Geelong in Round 7.

Dell’Olio was elevated to the senior list on Thursday and along with Jetta have showed strong form at VFL level in recent weeks.
