The Dick Reynolds Club are hosting their annual Golf Day on Thursday 8th December at Sandhurst Golf Club. All funds raised at the event will go towards the EFC Past Players Foundation Trust.
The EFC Past Players Trust was formed in 2004 by the Past Players & Officials Association and Essendon Football Club. The foundation exists to assist past players who are suffering financial hardship and are not able to maintain their normal living standards. Since the start of the EFC Past Players Foundation Trust, until September 2016, some 25 past players and/or families have been assisted with grants in excess of $74,000.
The DRC Golf Day is an event not to be missed, thoroughly enjoyed by all who attend. Each team will play 18 holes with a current or past Essendon player and share a buffet lunch at the conclusion of the tournament. There are multiple prizes to be won, including a KIA Car for a hole one.
