Essendon fans are the winners following the release of the 2015 fixture with plenty of fan and family friendly time slots throughout the 22 matches.

The club will play eleven matches during the afternoon next season as well as three in the twilight time slot giving families greater access to watch their favourite team in action.

There are only two Friday night matches for the Bombers in the fixture against North Melbourne in Round seven and the return clash with the Roos in round 16.

In a year full of celebrations the magical 400 game milestone for veteran Dustin Fletcher is set to fall in round seven against North Melbourne, if he is to play the first six rounds of the season.

Round six will see Essendon and Collingwood clash in the ANZAC Day Centenary match in front of a full house at the MCG.

The club's annual Dreamtime at the G match against Richmond will fall in round nine and kick off from 7.20pm on Saturday 30 May.

The first of the Bombers seven night matches for the season does not come until round six against West Coast in the first of two road trips to Patersons Stadium.

With five interstate trips in total fans in Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland will all get their chance to watch the team live in action during the 2015 season.

With the club's season opener in Sydney the first chance for Victorian fans to see their team in action will come with the round two blockbuster against reigning premier Hawthorn at the MCG.

New recruit Adam Cooney will have to wait until round 18 to play against his former side the Western Bulldogs a 3.20pm on Sunday 2 August.
