Essendon chairman Paul Little has declared 2015 as the year of the fan, promising more accessibility, transparency and communication from all areas of the club than ever before.

Little told members at the AGM on Monday night that the club would introduce an annual member forum starting from next year.

“In order to ensure we continue to listen and connect with our members, starting in 2015, the club will hold an annual member forum,” Little said

“The purpose of this forum is to provide members with an important opportunity to discuss the future direction of our club.”

“The Senior Coach, CEO and Chairman will all be in attendance and there will be more details communicated early in the New Year.”

Little said the member experience and customer satisfaction would be a major focus in 2015.

“Next year we will be implementing a number of initiatives to continue to improve the member experience across all touch points with the club,” Little said

“We will provide better accessibility and affordability at Essendon games with the removal of fully ticketed reserved seat matches and a return to general admission.”

“We have a fan friendly fixture with more games on Saturday and Sunday afternoons providing more opportunities for families and country supporters to attend our games.”

"And, we will enhance the match day experience and atmosphere at Essendon games with better customer service, more entertainment and exciting new game day rituals to be revealed shortly.”
