Veteran Paul Chapman is yet to decide whether he will play on after the 2015 season.

Following yesterday’s training challenge, Chapman said was solely focused on getting his body right during the pre-season to enable him to get the most out of the 2015 campaign.

“I’m travelling pretty well and I’m in a pretty good position heading into Christmas,” Chapman said.

“I’ve learnt a little bit more about my body and what are the right expectations for me to play this year.”

Chapman started his debut season in the red and black with a bang, overcoming a mid-season slump to finish with several key performances, regularly demonstrating his class, experience and poise on and off the field.

After playing 20 games in 2014, Chapman revealed he was reluctant to put a definitive number on how many games he would like to play in the new year.

“I’d love to play every game but that’s not going to happen,” Chapman said.

“Whatever happens next year happens.”

The 33-year-old has also not ruled out continuing on in 2016 putting it down to his body, his coaches’ opinion and his own drive to play on.

“I’ll just play and if it works out that I have a good year and the footy club wants me to play, and I want to play, then it will happen.”
