Round 16 Geelong 15.22.112 def Essendon 5.4.34

The Key Players

Mark Jamar (Ess): Big, strong and powerful.  Look for the Bombers big man to push forward where he is dangerous in one on one markng battles.

Will Hams (Ess): An elite ball winner, he'll often be the man at the bottom of the pack.  Averages 22 possessions a game, but is starting to hit the scoreboard too - had seven shots at goal last week.

James Polkinghorne (Ess): Nearly got the Bombers over the line in an inspirational Preliminary Final performance last year.  He's strong, combative and loves the big moments.  Like Hams and Jamar, he can push forward too.

George Horlin-Smith (Geel): A classy operator at VFL level.  He's averaging 27 disposals across his 11 games this season.

Nakia Cockatoo (Geel): He's played 10 AFL games this season.  The 19 year old wil be looking to use this match to push for selection in the Cats AFL final against Hawthorn on Friday.  Has the X-factor that can break open a final.

Jordan Murdoch (Geel): Has the burst of speed that can open up the tight confines of North Port Oval.  Averaging 17 possessions a game at VFL level this season.
