The Essendon Women's Network (EWN) is a non-match day coterie group who support the women of Essendon, raise funds for the Club and are aligned to the Club's vision and values.

Established in 1997, the EWN is regarded as the most successful women’s group within the AFL and is celebrating its 20th Anniversary in 2017.

Through major events (The Grand Final Comedy Debate, Meet the Coach and Business Networking lunches) the EWN committee is dedicated to fund raising, increasing membership numbers and raising the profile of women in football.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for two committee member positions to join the existing seven members.

These are voluntary positions and require a commitment of attending meetings, EWN events and Club events when possible.

Suitable applicants will ideally have prior hands on demonstrated experience in either fund raising, events, sponsorship or marketing through personal and business networks for either sporting, education, not for profit and/or corporate committee/boards.

A detailed Expression of Interest document is available outlining the EWN objectives, commitment guidelines, and eligibility criteria e.g. skills and experience.

Please click here for further information and to access the mandatory Expression of Interest form.

Applications close by Friday 3rd February, 2017 and should be addressed to the Chair, Jane Grover and emailed to Kelli Hughes at kelli@peopleinpractice.com.au.

We are excited to open up this opportunity to EWN Members so that together we can continue to support women in football.
