Scans have revealed forward Shaun McKernan will miss up to 10 weeks after suffering a strain to his left hamstring on Saturday afternoon.

The forward landed awkwardly in the second quarter of the game and immediately left the field.

“Shaun McKernan got the results of his hamstring scans this morning. The hamstring strain involves the intramuscular tendon and although surgery is not indicated in this case the injury will require a recovery period of 10 weeks,” High Performance Manager, Justin Crow, said.

Further details will be provided in Tuesday’s SKINS’ Injury Update
