The Bombers have taken their first steps towards season 2019, with the second-to-fourth-year players taking to the track at The Hangar today for their first day of pre-season.

The likes of Aaron Francis and Andrew McGrath were put through their paces under the watchful eye of senior coach John Worsfold, while more experienced players Dyson Heppell, Adam Saad, Orazio Fantasia, Jake Stringer, Tom Bellchambers and Michael Hartley got an early start before the rest of the squad begins next week.

New assistant coach Ben Rutten, who joined from Richmond at the end of the season, was also on hand for his first session.
