Brooke Brown will wear the red and black in 2023, with the Bombers securing the defender through the Priority Signing Period (PSP).

Brown arrives at the NEC Hangar from North Melbourne where she played 24 games across three seasons.

As a former basketball, touch rugby player and track and field athlete, Brown has many attributes that make her a versatile footballer.

At 184cm tall, Brown combines her athletic ability, game sense and pace to intercept opposition forward entries.

Season seven was a standout year for the 25-year-old, where she was a key pillar in the Kangaroo’s defence, especially during their finals campaign.

Brown collected back-to-back 20 disposals in North Melbourne’s first two finals matches, also notching up 10 marks in the semi-final verse Richmond.

AFLW List and Recruiting Manager Georgia Harvey welcomed Brown to the Bombers.

“Brooke is a tall, rebounding defender who has great game sense and athletic ability, which will make her a key asset for us and our defensive structure," Harvey said.

"We are thrilled to have Brooke join the club and look forward to seeing her in the red and black for 2023 and beyond.”
