The AFL announced late today that Essendon coach Kevin Sheedy will front the AFL tribunal as a result of his actions during the half-time break of the Essendon v West Coast match last Saturday night.
Sheedy was charged with misconduct in that he behaved in a threatening and/or aggressive manner towards West Coast player Mitchell White. Sheedy will front the tribunal on Thursday night.
The charge was laid following an investigation by AFL Investigations Officer Rick Lewis.
Meanwhile, the AFL also advised that after interviewing players, umpires and officials from Saturday's match that no further action would be taken regarding an incident just before half-time involving Essendon player Mark Johnson and Mitchell White.
