Essendon forward Leroy Jetta has been charged with a level one offence following the round one NAB Cup match between Essendon and Fremantle.
The 23-year-old was charged with the level one offense for wrestling with Fremantle’s Josh Mellington during the second half of the clash between Essendon and Fremantle, at Patersons Stadium on Sunday.
Jetta can accept a $900 sanction with an early plea.
A first offence for wrestling is a $1200 sanction. An early plea reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to $900.
