Coach James Hird is leading nine Bombers players in the program aimed at raising funds to assist young Australians in taking control of their lives by overcoming drug and alcohol problems.
Those taking part in the program include Jason Winderlich, Angus Monfries, Heath Hocking, Leroy Jetta, Brendan Lee, Ben Howlett, Michael Hibberd, Hal Hunter and Cory Dell’Olio.
Currently Team Hird has raised $1,226 during the shortest month of the year but there is still time to get behind them by sponsoring one of the players by clicking here.
There is just six days left to show your support for this great cause raising awareness of the alcohol and drug issues that face young Australians.
There have been two important changes to VFL affiliate the Bendigo Bombers fixture for the upcoming VFL season. The round 3 clash with Port Melbourne at Queen Elizabeth Oval will now be played on Saturday April 7 at 2.00pm not Friday April 6 (as previously advised).
