Essendon assistant coach Mark Harvey says it is no time for the club to panic despite having lost two games on end for the first time in more than two years. The Bombers went down to Carlton at the MCG on Sunday - a seven-point loss that followed defeat at the hands of Port Adelaide by the same margin.

But Harvey says the Bombers just need to fine tune a couple of aspects of their game to get their season back on track. ""There isn't any huge reason for concern. We have lost four games by a total of eight goals - we are not about to panic as a result of that,"" Harvey said.

Harvey said that the Bombers of 2001 were suffering from the comparisons to the side of 2000. ""You really can't compare the two seasons. Last years results were the best any club has produced in the history of the game. Anyone who thought we could replicate that in consecutive seasons was kidding themselves,"" Harvey said. ""We have had injury problems this year and struggled to get the same group on the ground in consecutive weeks. You simply can't win every week - in some ways the last two weeks have taken the pressure off - a lot like the loss to the Western Bulldogs did in round 21 last year.""

That said, Harvey says the players aren't at their best right at the moment. ""There are some areas we need to improve on and we have four weeks to get that right,"" Harvey said. ""You would much rather be sorting these things out now than finals time. I'm confident we can get back on track.""
