LONG-TERM INJURY LIST
The AFL wishes to advise the following recent changes have been made to club lists, under the provision of the long-term injury-list rules:
Adelaide – Placed Brodie Martin on the long-term injury list, with Chris Schmidt upgraded from the rookie list as his replacement.
Port Adelaide – Placed Marlon Motlop on the long-term injury list, with Cameron Cloke upgraded from the rookie list as his replacement.
West Coast – Placed Tim Houlihan on the long-term injury list, with no replacement named at this stage.
Bendigo Bank Bombers coach Shannon Grant is confident his side can bounce back from Saturday’s season-opening loss to the Northern Bullants. The Bombers were competitive for the first three quarters, but injuries took their toll and the Carlton-aligned Bullants burst clear in the final term to win comfortably, 16.13 (109) to 9.10 (64).
