Essendon fans would much prefer to see West Coast’s Daniel Kerr play at the Bombers next year rather than Collingwood’s Alan Didak according to last week’s poll.

Kerr received almost 71% of the vote while almost 21.8% wanted neither, 3.6% want both and just 3.9% picked Didak.

This week we ask the question that Bombers' fans have discussed many times:

Where would you play Paddy Ryder?

Some of the comments from the Kerr/Didak poll are show below.

Komal Sidhu from Springvale says: we dont need trouble!!!! all we need is a few more youngsters that'll develop in 2 years and competitiveness in the team selection by adding depth. go dons!

Austin from St. Kilda says: We've got enough talented forwards to not gain much with getting Didak, but having another quality midfielder would really help the development of our younger players, and increase the effectivity of deliveries into the Forward 50.

John & Robina Smith from Craigburn Farm. S.A. says: Kerr is a far more talented player than Didak. If Kerr was to move from the west, it would be much easier to control his off-field problems with a change of environment. Didak would remain in Victoria and has had more than a fair from the Collywobbles.

Simon from Leongatha says: Daniel Kerr would be a great edition to the side when fully fit. If he was to leave West Coast what would you have to give up ? Defintly not Paddy Ryder or Scott Gumberlton and early picks remember his past injury problems

James from berwick, vic says: Kerr is a champion player and is exactly what essendon needs. didak is a gun too, but we already have a few small forwards and he would just take up space under our salary cap. Kerr is the obvious choice, a good midfielder to lead our star studded young players.

Haralambia from Norwood, SA says: Who would want a player that does really stupid things off the field like Didak who is part of a young side, when the older players in the club like Lloyd and Lucas do the right thing and lead by example.
