Windy Hill is a popular place and as a result it can be difficult to get a carpark at certain times. Training always seems to attract a crowd at the home of the Bombers and even the players can struggle to get a car-spot. As a result the club has hired a security guard to man the carpark so the Bomber boys don't miss out on training. New recruit Paul Salmon has gone one step better and guaranteed he never misses out on training by securing a car park in the VIP parking section. Salmon had a sign especially designed - ""reserved for Paul Salmon"" - so he can park right outside the club alongside coach Kevin Sheedy, chairman Graeme McMahon and chief executive Peter Jackson.

Bombers assistant coach Mark Harvey said the big Fish had to reserve a car spot for himself because he was struggling to walk the distance back to his car after training. ""The rest of us park over the other side of the road. It is about 20m walk and I think Salmon was hard pressed to make it back to his car. The old bloke went out and got a sign made up so he can park in the valet zone at the club,” Harvey said.
