The Bendigo Bombers have further cemented themselves a place in the finals after winning yesterday’s match against the Coburg Tigers by 22 points

The match – which took place at Coburg’s ABD Stadium – was Bendigo’s fourth consecutive win and has seen them move to sixth place on the VFL ladder with just one round to go before finals.

Coburg took the early lead and entered quarter time with a 20-point advantage, but Bendigo managed to fight back in the second and dominate the remainder of the game to finish with 12.11 (83) to Coburg’s 9.7 (61).

Essendon rookie Marcus Marigliani starred in the match and was named best on ground for his four-goal effort, proving that he will be one Bomber to watch in coming years.
