Essendon’s VFLW side remain undefeated in season 2022 after recording a convincing 74-point win over North Melbourne at Arden Street on Sunday.

It was another dominant display from senior coach Brendan Major’s charges, who were unrelenting from the first bounce in the 13.10 (88) to 2.2 (14) victory.

After setting up a two-goal lead at quarter-time, the Bombers flexed their muscle in booting 10 goals to one for the next three quarters.

As per their previous contests so far this season, the Dons were at their brutal defensive best after half-time, conceding only one behind while scoring seven unanswered goals.

The Dons’ scoring rampage was set up by four-goal efforts from forwards Cecilia McIntosh and Federica Frew.

Co-captain Mia-Rae Clifford had an equal game-high 21 disposals alongside Amelia Radford and Eloise Ashley-Cooper.

Defender Kendra Heil was ultra impressive down back, claiming six marks and drifting forward to boot a goal, while captain Georgia Nanscawen had a game-high 11 tackles.

The Bombers, who sit second on the VFLW ladder behind Casey, now turn their attention to another clash with Carlton from 12pm at the NEC Hangar on Saturday.
