Dreamtime returns to the MCG for the first time since 2019 as the centrepiece of Sir Doug Nicholls Round, which will be held across rounds 10 and 11 in 2022.

Essendon will face Richmond in the iconic fixture at the MCG on Saturday May 21, the same night as the federal election.

The blockbuster will kick off at 7:30pm AEST, and shown live on Channel Seven.

The Bombers will hit the road the week after in their second interstate game of the season, facing Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval in a twilight fixture on Sunday May 29.
