Essendon's membership today cracked the 30,000 barrier for only the second time in the club's history. The Bombers now have 30,050 members with 23 days still remaining before the opening match of the season. The club is now within reach of the record membership of 34,025 of last season. The membership numbers at the Bombers are excellent considering the club membership just 10 years agao was 10,686.
