The countdown is on to Friday's Great Grand Final Comedy Debate, one of the most fun events during the Toyota Grand Final Week.
The topic this year is: 'are footballers are the new rock stars' and it will be debated by high profile names Simon Madden, Liz Ellis, Wilbur Wilde, Greg Champion, Libbi Ellis and Dylan Lewis.
Jane Clifton will moderate the two-course luncheon in front of over 1000 AFL supporters.
The Great Grand Final Comedy Debate will also include the presentation of the 2009 Football Woman of the Year. This award recognises the women that have made a significant contribution to the game of football.
Nominees are Debbie Lee from Melbourne Football Club, Maria Ballestrin from Adelaide Football Club, Tanya Oziel who was instrumental in putting the AFL Peace Team together, Diana Taylor, President of the Western Region Football League and Stephanie Walding from the East Perth Football Club.
A silent auction will also be held featuring products ranging from beauty and health, travel and lifestyle, sport and entertainment plus more.
