Gary Moorcroft and Scott Lucas returned to form as the Bombers exacted some revenge for last year's loss to the Bulldogs with a thumping 78-point win. Moorcroft kicked six first half goals - and took the mark of the year - while Lucas sparkled early and kicked three. There were few signs of the Bulldogs' infamous flooding, but they were never given the chance. Mark Johnson, Joe Misiti and John Barnes were all outstanding, and Lloydy kicked five. Damien Hardwick and Jason Johnson were late withdrawals.
