Both Essendon's Wheelchair Dons are through to the Grand Final after a successful day out at Boroondara Sports Complex.

In what was a jam-packed day for both our teams which included both the semi and prelim-finals.

Hawthorn were first up in the semi's which resulted in big wins for both teams with the Dev Squad winning by 63 points and the seniors with a 55 point win.

Adam Georgelin was strong in the Seniors, playing in the Ruck for 3 quarters, giving the Dons a big advantage, also, Sam Moraldo and Scott Van Gemert were superb in the forward line, with Van Gemert reaching 50 goals for the year - a great achievement.

The teams then turned their attention to the prelim-finals where they both faced Collingwood. The Dev Squad had a much easier match winning by 56 points. The Seniors game was a closer affair resulting in over-time - Essendon eventually coming away with the win to the tune of 20 points.
