Fans will be excited to see defender Brandon Zerk-Thatcher will make his return to the side after missing last week due to an ankle injury.
Small defender Massimo D'Ambrosio and last week's sub Nick Hind have both been omitted from the side and have been placed on the emergencies list for Sunday's matchup with the Giants.
Essendon will take on GWS at 2:10 PM April 9 at Marvel Stadium.
