After showing their support for the AFLW Bombers in their inaugural season, Essendon is proud to announce Palo Alto Networks will be extending its partnership to all five programs.

To complement their existing partnership with AFLW, Palo Alto Networks will become the Official Coaches Partner of the Bombers’ AFL, VFL, VFLW and VWFL teams for the next three seasons.

In addition to cybersecurity, Palo Alto Networks also strongly focuses on protecting the digital way of life by supporting and educating the community on how to stay safe online and keep personal information secure.

Essendon CEO Craig Vozzo said the Bombers were thrilled to have Palo Alto Networks increase their support to all five programs.

“We are extremely grateful for Palo Alto Networks support of our AFLW program in our inaugural year, especially to come on board and back a team that was in its premature stages,” Vozzo said.

“But we are even more excited that they will now support our AFL, AFLW, VFL, VFLW and VWFL coaches. As a club, we understand the importance of development and ensuring all our programs have access to the resources and support needed to succeed and Palo Alto Networks align very closely with this vision.

“We look forward to working with the team at Palo Alto Networks to further develop this exciting partnership for both organisations.”

Lisa Sim, Cyberfit Nation director of Palo Alto Networks for Australia and New Zealand, said the organisation looks forward to supporting the Bombers’ five programs.

"At Palo Alto Networks, we believe regardless of background or aptitude, everyone should be allowed to develop and achieve their fullest potential - in games and life. We are committed to building a culture of diversity that allows every individual the same resources and support. We are thrilled to be able to sponsor these teams for the next three seasons and look forward to collaborating to build a stronger, more inclusive community within Australian sports," Sim said.

"We are proud to be the Official Coaches Partner for the AFL, VFL, VFLW, and VWFL teams for the next three seasons. Based on a shared value of inclusion and talent development, we are committed as a team to fostering an environment in which everyone, regardless of background and aptitude, feels welcomed, respected, and supported. We are excited to collaborate with Essendon to promote diversity and inclusion in sports and beyond, and we look forward to collaborating to create a more inclusive future for all."
