Essendon captain Matthew Lloyd and his wife Lisa have announced they are expecting their first child in December. ""We are both really happy and looking forward to it,"" Lloyd said. Lloyd will become the seventh father on the Essendon list.

Other Essendon dads are James Hird, Dustin Fletcher, Scott Lucas, Scott Camporeale (pending), Dean Rioli and Jason Laycock. There is no indication as to whether it is boy or girl at this stage.
