Essendon has picked up Jason Laycock (Tassie Mariners) and Jason Winderlich(Gippsland Power) with selections 10 and 11 and today's National Draft. Both players were present at today's draft. Brendon Goddard of the Gippsland Power was the number one selection at this year's draft, being taken by St Kilda. Daniel Wells was taken at number two by the Kangaroos.
