Essendon has made three changes to its round 12 VFL side to take on Carton this Sunday.
AFL-listed duo Andrew Phillips and Rhett Montgomerie will make their returns, providing important aerial presence for the Dons.
Tough midfielder Brad Bernacki is also back in the side after being a late out in last week's tight loss to the Kangaroos.
The Bombers and Blues will clash at Ikon Park, with the first bounce at 2:05pm.
