Suggestions that the round nine clash between Essendon and Hawthorn was already a “lockout” are simply wrong. As of 10.00am this morning more than 15,000 tickets were still available for the match.

The breakdown is as follows:

? 1400 seats for AFL members which will go on sale next Tuesday.

? 1100 seats for AFL EFC Club Support members that will be available until next Tuesday – the balance remaining will go into the general AFL members pool.

? 9000 Level 4 seats available on a priority access basis for Essendon members until next Tuesday. The remaining seats will then go on sale to the general public – these are available for the price of General Admission.

? 450 Medallion Club seats have been released on Level 2 and are available to the public at a premium.

? 400 EFC Corporate seats have been released on Level 2 and are4 available at a premium.

? A further 300 premium seats are available on Level 1 and 2.

? 2500 Standing Room tickets will be made available once all seating has been sold. The cost is: Adults - $20.43, Concession: $13.68 and Junior $2.75.

Of the 15,150 tickets remaining this morning, 4350 will go into the public pool for sale next Tuesday. Seats not taken up by Essendon members can be added to this figure.

The additional standing room tickets will take the Stadium Capacity to in excess of 55,000.
