Essendon Football Club has taken its commitment to providing supporters with unique, up-to-date club information one step further, today launching the official club page on Facebook.
Essendon has already established itself as a leader in social networking, running the most popular Twitter account in the AFL and boasting two players, Angus Monfries and Jobe Watson who also have accounts.
Facebook, a social utility that connects millions of people from around the world, is growing into one of the biggest social networking tools.
Essendon - the only AFL Club to independently run their own website – will utilise the social networking technology to engage with fans, share photos, launch events and offer inside information as it happens at the club.
