The highest polling games of the season were round 16 and 21, with 174 votes awarded in both matches. In round 16 against Collingwood, Matthew Lloyd polled 26 votes for his eight goals, while in the Bombers 99 point win over Carlton, Mark Johnson polled 27 votes for his six goals.
It was the highest number of votes given for the season, with Adam McPhee (27) and Andrew Lovett (27) the only other players to reach that mark, both doing it against Fremantle in Round 8.
Dustin Fletcher got off to a flying start with an average of over 20 votes in the first five rounds. He finished in 5th position, an excellent effort in a season restricted to 17 games.
Second year player Brent Stanton came home like a steam train to finish in third position. Stanton played 19 games for the season and after round 8, had only 8 votes. From there on, he polled in every match to finish the count with 253 votes saving his best return to round 22 where he polled 24 votes.
