Essendon general manager of football, Paul Hamilton, today said that Matthew Knights and Matthew Lloyd have held their planned end-of-season meeting and the club captain is currently considering what he will do in 2010.
 
“The coach told Lloyd he wants him to play on next year,"" Hamilton said. 
 
""He provided Lloyd with his view on the role he sees him playing in 2010 and the expectations he has of him.
 
""Lloyd has now been given some time to consider his future and will advise the club of his decision in due course.""
 
Knights has also met with most other players as part of the annual end-of-season review process.
