After being knocked out of the NAB Cup by Carlton, Essendon look set to make amends for their performance as they take on West Coast at Subiaco this Saturday night. Mark Johnson, Ricky Dyson, Jay Neagle and Heath Hocking have also come into the squad of 28 while Richard Cole, James Hird, Nathan Lovett-Murray and Scott Lucas have been rested.
There is a familiar face around the corridors of Windy Hill, as Joe Misiti returns to the club as a part time development coach. The two-time premiership player and 236-game Essendon champion will work alongside Matthew Knights and Gary O’Donnell every Tuesday morning with a select midfield group of first, second or third year players.
