A trio of Bombers are a chance to return this weekend when Essendon face Carlton on Saturday at Windy Hill.

Lily-Rose Williamson could line up for her first game for the year, while Jacqui Vogt and Brooke Brown are on track with their recovery from calf injuries.

Williamson has been recovering from an ankle injury but has trained fully and participated in match simulation.

Head of Medical Services said Vogt and Brown are expected to train fully this week.

“Jacqui and Brooke are progressing well with their recovery, and if they can get through training throughout the week, they’ll be available for selection this weekend,”

“Credit to both players, they’ve been extremely committed and worked diligently through their rehab to ensure they are in the best condition to return.”

Georgia Gee is also progressing well in her recovery, with the forward increasing her running loads over the coming days.

The Bombers will be without Co-Captain Steph Cain this weekend after the midfielder suffered a concussion in the second quarter of their clash with West Coast.
