PRIDE GAME

This week’s game against Carlton is the Club’s annual Pride game, where we celebrate diversity and inclusion at our club.

The team will wear their Pride guernsey this week, which was designed in collaboration with the Purple Bombers.

The Purple Bombers, established in 2014, is the official diversity and inclusion supporter group of the Essendon Football Club.

The Purple Bombers work hard to create and establish a strong and diverse coterie group and setting the foundations of a strong, safe and accepting supporter group for all.

The Purple Bombers logo has been included on the guernsey to honour the incredible work they do creating a safe space for all Bomber fans at games.

This weekend, the Purple Bombers will have a marquee on the hill behind the Napier Street goals, so please give them a visit and check out their pride guernsey photo station and collect a free of charge pride flag.

For more information, please visit https://purplebombers.com/

MERCHANDISE

Bombers fans can grab all the latest and greatest merchandise from the Bomber Shop including the new Pride Range, located inside the Brewster Street gate.

PARTNERS AND ACTIVATIONS

There will be a little something for everyone inside the stadium on Saturday, so we recommend getting to the game nice and early to make the most of everything on offer.

Make sure you swing by the Kids Fun Zone at Gate 2 to keep the whole family entertained pre-game.

You can test your skills in the Fujitsu Warm Up Zone or hop on a bike to blend yourself a smoothie thanks to Liberty.

You’re also able to put yourself through a fun obstacle course thanks to Coles Healthy Kicks.

You can then get your game-face on by visiting our friends at Toyota Forklifts for free facepainting.

There will be give aways from partners Toyota Forklifts, Palo Alto Networks, NEC, Liberty and Coles to make sure no-one goes home empty handed.

Make sure you then check out the Fujitsu Measure Up Wall behind the Napier Street end goals, where you can compare your height to our superstars, Maddy Prespakis, Sophie Van De Heuvel, Brooke Brown and Bonnie Toogood.

We’ll be looking for the best dancer in the crowd at quarter time, so make sure you’re out of your seat and showing off your best moves for your chance to win a $60 Bomber Shop voucher.

Fujitsu 50 makes its return at three-quarter time this week, where one lucky contestant will have a shot on goal from the 50m line to win $100 Mastercard voucher.

Nobody will go hungry on Saturday, as we’ll have food trucks behind the goals at the Napier Street end and inside the Brewster Street gate. Alternatively, the Windy Hill bistro will be open post-game so you can enjoy a sit-down meal.
