A new route and live site location headlines the 2024 edition of The Long Walk to the MCG.

The walk, which has become a highlight of the annual Dreamtime at the 'G contest between Essendon and Richmond, will again involve thousands of walkers who'll stand behind Michael Long and key dignitaries in raising awareness for First Nations rights.

The pre-walk will feature live music performed by some of Australia’s leading Indigenous artists, including the internationally renowned Senator Briggs, free sport, art activations for the family, and food trucks to grab a pre-walk feed.
