Bendigo has defeated Williamstown by 19 points in a comprehensive performance at Windy Hill.

In a pleasing sign for Bomber fans big man Scott Gumbleton ran out the entire game in just his second match since returning from injury, booting three goals.

Gumbleton looked lively all day across the forward line flying for marks and creating a contest at every opportunity.

Kyle Reimers and David Myers were among the best for Bendigo providing important run and carry through the middle of the ground.

Myers, was superb in his first game back from a hamstring injury while ruckman David Hille played three quarters in his return from a calf injury.

After a close first quarter it was Bendigo who blew the game apart in the second and third quarters scoring nine unanswered goals.

Bendigo's next opponent is Coburg next Sunday at 1pm in Shepparton.
