With pick six, the Bombers selected Archer May from Subiaco WAFL.

A 198cm key forward, the 20-year-old will look to add to Essendon’s tall stocks.

May has kicked 12 goals from six games in the WAFL, also being selected in the competition state game.

With pick No.13, the Bombers drafted Lachlan Blakiston from East Fremantle in the WAFL.

Standing at 203cm, the 26-year-old ruck has had an impressive season, catching the eyes of recruiters across the country in averaging 21.3 hitouts and 13.3 disposals over three games.

Pick No.17 saw the Bombers select their very own VFL product Oskar Smartt.

The exciting 180cm small forward has been electric so far in the VFL, having kicked seven goals for the season, with three in his most recent match against Richmond.

With their final pick (No. 18), Essendon selected Liam McMahon from Carlton VFL.

The 198cm key forward has been tremendous in front of goal for the Blues, kicking 24 goals from seven games.
