Essendon could regain Nate Caddy for their Friday night clash with the Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium.
The forward was managed due to soreness last week after featuring in all 16 games in the buildup to the GWS fixture, but he will train fully this week and be available for selection.
Ben Hobbs will also be pushing to be available after missing last week’s game with a groin complaint.
Scans confirmed a hamstring strain for Elijah Tsatas after experiencing some soreness out of his return game against Richmond a fortnight ago – he’ll miss the next four weeks.
Ben McKay is progressing slowly as he manages a niggling foot injury, and while hopeful of getting back this year, it now appears unlikely he will return to play this season.
Darcy Parish and Harrison Jones won’t be seen again this season, as both players continue to recover from their respective calf and ankle injuries.
